Addie Lucille Willis was born to Spurgin and Edna Mae Johnson on the 15th of August 1950 in Flatonia, TX. She went into her sleeping state on the 5th of February 2014 until Jesus comes back where she will be changed in a twinkling of eye and raptured into the New Heaven and New Jerusalem.
She leaves behind her children Shawn, Daniel, Jr., Martha, Suzette, Sharon, Daphne, Kimberly, and Michael; her siblings: Willie, Helen, Patricia, and Erma; a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Addie possessed many lovely attributes, especially teaching her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren about the importance of knowing your life source in Christ Jesus; being a faithful servant of God; what it means to have agape love like Jesus modeled; and being an example of what He wants us to do:
First, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Second, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Her passions were praising and uplifting Christ Jesus and spreading the Good News of the Gospel; remembering what Family is all about; helping others in her career through nursing, insurance, and social work; education; and being an active Christian in both the community and with strangers in Christ Jesus.
