Albert Solano

April 22, 1951 – February 2, 2021

Albert Vallejo Solano died at St. David Medical Center on February 2, 2021 after a battle with cancer. He was a former veteran of the Vietnam War and served honorably in the United States Army, achieving the rank of private from July 7, 1969 until March 23, 1971.

Albert is survived by his wife of 24 years, Margie and five children: Eric Solano (Luci), Melissa Verver (Pat), Ezra Solano, Linda Martinez (Jason) and Jennifer Rodriguez. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

Siblings: Maria Segura (Ruben), Sylvia Garza Warren, Jose “Joe” Garza (Adrianna) and Juan Garza. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Albert loved and valued spending time with his family, as well as enjoyed going fishing and working on puzzles.

We are so thankful to the medical staff who were on the care team at the St. David Medical Center during his final days.
