Antonia Frances Winkler Embesi, 84, of Bastrop, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2015. Antonio (Toni) was born August 4, 1931 in Kirtley, Texas to Sofie and Anton Elias.
Toni was married to the late Herman Winkler and together, they had six children. After Herman's death, she married the late C.J. Embesi from Fayeteville, Texas. Toni was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and Catholic Daughter Organization along with being a member of the Alter Society. Toni enjoyed life by visiting her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in Mississippi and loved to travel.
Toni is survived by five children; Harvey Winkler and his wife, Nancy of Huntsville, Texas; Linda Winkler of Smithville, Texas; Bernice Hoehne of Doplarville, Mississippi; Larry Winkler of Smithville, Texas, Barry Winkler of Channelview, Texas, and One Daughter-in-law; Debbie Winkler of Giddings, Texas. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren as well as a multitude of friends and relatives.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015 form 4:00PM to 8:00PM at All Faiths of the Pines Funeral Home, Smithville, Texas with Rosary at 7:00PM. Funeral Mass will be Monday, November 9, 2015, 10:00AM, at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Smithville, Texas. Toni will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville, Texas following the Funeral.
