Arlene Borgsteadt

Arlene Borgsteadt of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children on February 1st after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Freeport, TX on Nov 4, 1953 to "Jinx" and Charlene Nevill. Arlene was a kind and compassionate person who was loved and cherished by many. She was an avid NASCAR fan, but more importantly a loyal Dale Jr. fan. She also loved sewing and making quilts to give away.

Arlene was preceded in death by her parents "Jinx" and Charlene Nevill.

She is survived by her sister Tracey Nevill, her daughters Rachel Kitterman Villegas and Amanda Kitterman, her son Grant "Bubba" Borgsteadt, her step children Jennifer Latham and Elizabeth Borgsteadt, and grandchildren Meghan Pollitt, Victory Grace Pollitt, Caden Villegas, Dean Kitterman-Gay, Lila Borgsteadt and Ava Latham.

She was comforted in her later years by spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2016 at All Faiths Funeral Services on 8507 N. IH-35 Austin TX 78753.

A rosary will follow the visitation at 10:00 a.m. with a service to begin at 11:00 a.m.
