Arthur Warren Mills III, born 6/13/1955, departed 4/3/2013.
Services will be held 12:00 noon Monday, 4/8/2013 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Austin. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery, Austin Texas.
Born in Wellesley, Massachusetts, Arthur graduated from Wellesley High School in 1973 and received a B.S., Electrical Engineering, from Northeastern University. He loved his work as a systems engineer at Electronic Data Systems/Hewlett-Packard for 35 years.
Arthur was a loving husband and father who devoted his free time and energy to his family and home. In 2011, Arthur was diagnosed with ALS; he faced the disease with courage and humility.
He will be greatly missed by his family - Leila, his wife of 30 years and their six children: sons Warren and Eric; and daughters Carrie, Alison, Wendy, and Grace - all of Austin, TX; as well as sisters Janet Knudsen of Woburn, MA., Laurel Mills of Ashland, MA., Diana Mills of Rockville, Md., Marcie Mills of Marina del Rey, CA., Tracey Arminio of La Jolla, CA; and parents Arthur Warren and Anna Elizabeth Mills of Wellesley, MA.
