Bennie Williams III was born to Bennie Williams II and Willie Mae Williams on January 19, 1936 in Austin, Texas. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized by the Rev.C. H. Jones at Park Springs Baptist Church. Later in life he served as a Deacon at St. Paul Baptist Church.

God is wise to error and too just to be unkind, so in His infinite wisdom He chose to bring Bennie's life to an end on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at the age of 80, with God. Bennie Williams III was an accomplished Cabinet Maker, Stair case crafter, Trim Specialist and Business owner for over fifty years. His work was featured in Better Homes and Garden periodical as a testament to his God given gifts.

He was preceded in death by his son Bennie Edward Williams IV aldo by his father Bennie Williams II (Jimbo) and mother Willie Mae Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter Carol Lynn Williams, sisters and brothers; Gladys Huddleston of Kansas City, Missouri; Wilton Williams of Pflugerville, Texas; Percy Jean Elliott, Alonzo Williams, and Thelma Williams, all from Austin, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services handled by All Faiths Funeral Services North location.
