Beola Hall Jones was born on July 16, 1909 to Woodie and Lou Ella Hall in Chappell Hill, Texas. She was united in Holy Matrimony to Isaac Jones. To this union five children were born whom they raised in Hare and subsequently Taylor, Texas.
Sister Jones accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and was a faithful member of the Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church where she served as a Stewardess until her health would no longer allow her to attend.
Mrs. Jones will be well remembered for owning Jones Snack Bar which she operated during the 60's and 70's. The cozy little store was located near O.L. Price High School and was well known for its 15 cents chili dogs and sandwiches.
Sister Jones was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four siblings, five children, three grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory thirteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren as well as great-great grandchildren along with a host of relatives and friends.
A visitation with the family will be Friday, September6, 2013 at 10:00 am Allen Chapel AME Baptist Church, Taylor, TX. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Taylor City Cemetery, Taylor, TX
