Bertha Williams

OBITUARY

Bertha Ann Williams was born June 12, 1951 in Helena Arkansas the youngest of five children of Charlie Moss Jr. and Hosie Beatrice Miller-Moss. She was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 69.

Ann confessed hope in Christ at an early age at St. Stephens Baptist Church in Austin, Texas serving as a longtime active member.

Upon completion of high school, she began a career in technology at Texas Instruments where she worked for almost 15 years. After a work-related injury, she was able to spend more time with her family as a stay at home mom. During this time she learned that she also loved that she enjoyed taking walks, thrifting and sharing a good meal with family and friends.

She was united in Holy matrimony to Carlton Williams; and to this union two children were born, Janice Moss-Williams-Christophe and Brian Williams.

Ann was survived by her loving stepmother, Georgia Ann Moss; daughter, Janice Williams-Christophe; Son, Brian Williams; two grandchildren, Asante’ Christophe and John Christophe Jr; sisters, Mable Robinson White, Fannie Johnson (William), Elveta Wright (Eugene) and Jewel Walker; and brother, Virgil Hardeman (Jacklin); and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother’s Earnest Moss, Oscar Moss and niece Jacquelyn Robinson-Murray.
