Billie Morris Burditt was born January 30, 1958 to C.T. Hemphill, Sr. and Chester A. Burditt in Roswell, New Mexico. The family moved to Austin, Texas shortly thereafter.
Billie attended various high schools in the Austin Independent School District and later pursued his passion for business by attending Durham Business School where he completed several business courses. Billie's love for God was shown through his service on the Deacon Board at New Bethel church at a very early age.
Billie's interest included fishing, gardening, and music. However, his most enjoyable hobby was spending precious time with his friends and family. He also had an admirable sense of humor and always kept everyone around him laughing with anticipation.
Billie departed this life on Wednesday, September 24, 2012 at the Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX, surrounded by his loving family. He was 56 years old.
Billie was preceded in death by his parents C.T. Hemphill and Chester A. Burditt; Three brothers: Ray Burditt, Roger Burditt, and Albert Burditt, Jr.; Three sisters: Esther Burditt, Dorothy Tennison, and Helen Alexander. He leaves to cherish his memory: One sister, Patsy Ann Wright; One brother: Clayton "C.T." Hemphill, Jr.; valued caregiver, Selena, and a host of nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00pm at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas. Internment Committal Service will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
