Billy Washington

Billy Frank Washington “Pops” was born on May 24, 1950 to Johnny Lee Washington Sr. and Algeree O’Nell Washington (Brown).

He received his wings October 29, 2020.

Billy was raised, and raised havoc, alongside siblings, James, Johnny, Aldeen, Brenda, and Aretha, in the Montopolis area of Austin, Texas.

He attended school in Del Valle ISD where he lettered in both football and baseball during his high school years. After high school, he served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge upon completion.

We thank him and appreciate his service.

Those remaining to cherish the memories of Billy are his son David Darnell Washington (Melissa) of Leander, Texas, daughter Deirdre Danielle Washington of Hutto, Texas, and Deborah Elaine Lee.

Along with brothers and sisters James Elvin Washington (Jean) of Austin, Texas, Brenda Sue Washington and Aretha Roshun Washington of Del Valle, Texas.

His grandchildren D'Andrea DeVon Burditt, Destiny Deshonne Washington, Dedric Donnell Washington, Denecia Denise Henry, Billy-Algeree Nicole Howell, Diego Javier Washington, and Elijah Daniel Washington,

He was blessed to experience great-grandchildren as well.
