Boyd Lee Kelly, Sr., 71, of Bastrop, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at home surrounded by his family.
Boyd was born in Smithville, Texas on March 25, 1942.
He was preceded in death by his parents Oscar D. Kelly and Odessa M. Leverett Kelly; son Roger Kelly; sister Barbara Purcella; brother James Kelly.
Boyd is survived by his wife Sallie Kelly, daughters Theresa Kelly and Rhonda Eaves and her husband Doby. Sons Boyd L. Kelly, Jr. and James Kelly and his wife Shelly; brother Michael Kelly; sisters Shirley Merritt, Sandra Kelly, Patsy King and Karen Teague. Eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at All Faiths of the Pines. Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery, Bastrop, Texas, with Reverend Melvin Clearman of Trinity Chapel officiating.
