Carolina Castro, 45, of Manor, Tx. was called home to the Lord on October 14, 2023. She was born October 1, 1978 in Austin, Texas to Vicenta and Gumercindo Castro.
Carolina was the youngest of seven siblings. Her departure has left a void in our lives.
Carolina was a kind, thoughtful, and compassionate person. She loved her family, friends and pets with her whole heart. She was generous with her time and extremely thoughtful in everything she did. She took care of her mother with love and care on a daily basis.
Carolina loved to scrapbook and would make photo albums throughout the year for our family and took pleasure in seeing us all enjoying those memories she had created for us.
She graduated from Manor high school in 1997. Some of Carolina‘s favorite things were her Sweet Valley Book series that she read since she was in junior high and still kept and read by her bedside. She loved Hallmark movies, especially ALL of the Christmas ones. Her favorite TV series was Gilmore Girls and Heartland. She loved everything Disney with her favorite being Beauty and the Beast. She identified with Belle because she was a bookworm herself.
Carolina loved Novelas whether they were English, Mexican, Turkish, Colombian, Brazilian - you name it!
Her favorite color was purple and she had a laugh like no other. She is loved by many and left great memories within all of us that we will cherish forever.
Carolina is preceded in death by her father Gumercindo Castro.
She is survived by her mother Vicenta Castro,
Sister Myrna Zamora (Husband Anthony Zamora),
Brother Hugo Castro,
Sister Sandra Becerra,
Brother Gustavo Castro (Wife Maria Castro),
Sister Ingrid Cannon (Husband Chris Cannon),
Sister Ruth Sauls (Husband Glenn Sauls).
She also leaves behind 20 Nieces and Nephews and 29 Great Nieces and Nephews and adored each and every one of them.
