Carolyn Tobin

Born Carolyn Elaine Calhoun in Austin, Texas on February 17, 1950 to Richard Beverly Calhoun (Buddy) and Alvaretta Louise Reed (Rita) and called to our savior's house on June 12, 2016. As, always her loving husband was present at her unexpected passing. Carolyn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Carolyn has been preceded in death by her Mother Rita Calhoun, Father Buddy Calhoun, Sister Beverly Arbuckle, Brother Richard Beverly, Jr., and her Father-in-law Nolan P. Tobin (Buddy).
She is survived by her Husband and companion of 38 years, Roy Tobin, her Mother-in-law Marie Tobin, Brother Kenneth Reed and Sister-in-law Barbara Reed. Her children, Mike Calhoun, Tammy Machu, Bridgett and Son-in-law Billy Ayers Sr., Clarence and Daughter-in-law Jamie Machu, Melisa and Son-in-law Shannon Tippie, Elizabeth and Son-in-law Johnny Polasek and Theresa Greenville.

Carolyn was gifted with 10 Grandchildren, Michael Machu Granddaughter-in-law Nikki Machu, Christian Rivera, Billy Ayers Jr., Abigail Ayers, James Ayers, Bia Machu, Bella Machu, Hailey Tippie, Shelbi Tippie, Cameron Tippie, Averi Polasek and Parker Polasek. In addition she has 3 Great Grandchildren, Erin Machu, Aryah Machu, and Kinlee Ayers.
Carolyn was very proud of all her family and used the many opportunities and family events to show how much she cared.
Carolyn was a long standing member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the VFW 8787.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to Dr. Sylvia Glaze, Dr. Mark Clark and especially Dr. Christopher Godell. She often told those around her, "Dr. Godell is my rock!"
Carolyn will be forever missed and in our hearts.
