Obituary for Catharine Sanchez-Homann
Catharine Sanchez-Homann, 60, of Austin passed away Saturday September 29th. She was born to the late Fred and Hattie Berger, November 12, 1951, in Weimer Texas. Catharine graduated from Bishop Forest High School and received a BA in Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She was married to Kenneth Homann.
Catharine was an elementary school teacher for more than 30 years until she retired in 2008 and was passionate about teaching and making a difference in children's lives.
Catharine is survived by her two children: Tracy Martinez and Daniel Sanchez and three step children Shelly Homann, Crystal Homann, and Katie Homann. She is also survived by her two sisters Louise Dieringer and Joyce Haas. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
