Charles Kenneth Adams, 88, died December 7, 2013. He was born near Whitesboro, TX. Kenneth worked in restaurants in Whitesboro and Amarillo before moving to Austin where he was employed by Scarboroughs and University Co-op Bookstore. In Bastrop he owned the Carriage Way Steakhouse. Finally, he worked 15 years in the gift shop at St. David's Hospital. Kenneth was always active in church fellowships and volunteer organizations such as Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and Hospice.
He leaves behind a nephew and many friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 14 at All Faiths of the Pines in Smithville.
Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17 at McComb Cemetery, McComb, Texas.
