Charles Jennings

Charles “Popo” Jennings, was born on April 1, 1935 to Sam and Ruth Jennings and passed away at the age of 86 on November 12, 2021. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Robin, daughter Sharon Smith and husband Jerry; sons Charles Jennings Jr. and wife Kathy, Wesley Jennings and wife Sherry; granddaughters, Kelsey Smith, Kristen Nash and husband Brent, Sarah Jennings, Taylor Jennings and Kylie Jennings; grandsons, Charles Jennings III and wife Ashton, and Garrett Jennings, and great grandchildren Sutton and Morgan Nash. He is also survived by his sister Betty Seiders and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles was a gentle man who had a great gift for fixing anything. He loved his family, worked hard and enjoyed coaching youth baseball and football, hunting, fishing, watching sports and spending time at the lake house and the family ranch. He absolutely adored his grandchildren more than anything in the world and in his eyes they could do no wrong. While he was a generally a soft spoken man, you could always hear his voice above the others at the grandkids’ sporting events.

He was a sweet soul who will be greatly missed by us all.
