Born to Thelma Watson and Charles W. McNeece, Sr. in Austin, Texas
Educated through the Austin Public School system and Higher Education completed at Waco Technical College.
Deacon Charles W. McNeece, Jr. is preceded in death by his father, Reverend Charles W. McNeece.
He is survived by his wife and best friend, Diantha, daughter, Monique (her mother - Dorothy Overton), step sons, Richard & Brandon, "his girls" (surrogate granddaughters) - Amaya Batiste & Aniyah Brand who brought him pure joy, and his "faithful companion" Zoey (his dog).
He is also is survived by his mother, Thelma McNeece, sisters, Traci Ates (David), Gwen Shaw (Steve), Carla and Deidre McNeece, brothers, Darryl McNeece , Bobby McNeece (Lynn), and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.
Charles loved life and people and he lived it to the fullest even on his last day on earth. He watched cartoons with his younger granddaughter, prayed, listened to worship music, prepared his clothes for his step son's graduation from college scheduled for the following day, walked and played with his dog, laughed, joked, listened to music and loved on family, went to the grocery store to purchase some fruit and then laid down and peacefully went to sleep.
He was a great man, loved by many. Short in stature but a giant heart. Life will never be the same without him and although he is gone, he will never ever be forgotten.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2012 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Now his spirit is free and rejoicing in heaven with the angels!
