Chavass White

Chavass White was born on February 22, 1951 in West Memphis, Arkansas to the late Owen Sr. and Mattie Hodges White. He was joined in marriage in El Campo, Texas on June 2, 1973 to Reba J. Brigham and to this union one child was born.

Chavass was a loving and dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He was enlisted in the United States Air Force. At the time of his death he was employed at Texas Neuro Rehab Center. On his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, reading his bible and traveling. He was a member of the South Austin Community Church.

Chavass was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Owen White Jr., Gerard White, Michael Anthony White and one sister, Patricia Ann White.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife of 41 years Reba White; daughter Viviana Sneed (Arthur Sneed II); two grandchildren, Victoria and Trey Sneed; Three brothers Barnabas (Diane) White, Fredrick (Berna) White, James(Tina) White; four sisters, Bobbie Green White, Klondike (SW) Skinner, Freda (Lem) Adams-Austin, Minister Lenora(Pastor Ronnie) Holt, and three aunts; Rosie Robinson, Ann Richards, Rebecca Simons, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation Service will take place at All Faiths Funeral Service-North Location, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2015.

Home Going Celebration will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at St. James-E.M. Franklin Baptist Church, Austin, Texas.

Committal Service with U.S. Air Force Military Honors will take place at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas at 9:45a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015.
