Clifton Dale "Buster" Spillar passed away on August 25, 2018 at the age of 67.
Buster is survived by his daughter, Erin Spillar of Austin, TX, his son Austin Spillar (Mandi) of Wichita, KS and his loving fiancé Terri Sheldon of Austin, TX. Buster is also survived by his sister, JoAnn Wolf of Bartlett, TX, his niece, nephew, aunt and many cousins.
Buster was born September 18, 1950 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated from S.H. Rider High School in 1968. In 1986 while serving 14 years as Vice-President for Boyce Iron Works Inc., a family owned and operated construction business, Buster developed an interest in real estate. He began his career with a premier home builder and developer, earned his GRI designation in 1994. Bucking the trend of large real estate firms, Buster is a founding partner and the broker of Spillar Real Estates Services, Inc.
Buster was an avid golfer. He had a love for plants, animals and appreciated the beauty of the earth. He was full of life, lots of smiles, stories and jokes. Above all else, Buster loved his family. Buster never met a stranger and if you were in his life, he loved you unconditionally.
A celebration of life will be held at 500 Onion Creek Lodge Rd in Buda, TX at 2pm Sunday, October 7th. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Buster's life.
