Clifton Thanheiser

Clifton Thanheiser was born on September 15, 1922 in Gonzales County to Frank and Ida Thanheiser. He married Carolyn Cocke on October 11, 1963. Clifton was in retail business for many years, and also worked for the state. In addition to his devoted wife Carolyn, he is survived by his cat Sam Houston, several cousins including Joy Hanson, Dollie Merle Miles, Carolyn Sherry and Cleo Henderson, and special friends Dora Griffin, Joyce and John Howell, Kelly Luedeke, Louise Owens and Rodger Templeton. A visitation will be held at All Faiths Funeral Services Tuesday, August 7 at 6:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 8 at 10:30 a.m. at Luling City Cemetery in Luling, Texas.
