North Austin Location

Da'Shone Dondrell Coleman age 23 the son of Mr. Arthur Lee Coleman and Ms. Deborah Ann Taylor-Coleman was born on October 09, 1991 in Cleveland, Mississippi. Da'Shone relocated to Austin, Texas with his mother in 1999 at the age of eight (8). He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a very early age and while in middle school he decided he was ready for baptism, which was conducted by Pastor, A.W. Mays at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Austin, Texas resulting in becoming a member of the church.

As all or most of Da'Shone family, friends, and peers are aware he was known and called by a number of aliases such as Da'Da, Don Dolla, and Hollywood. Da'Shone had a talent for basketball from the time he was old enough to hold the ball and as he grew older it was clear to his mother he enjoyed the sport and from then on he took an interest in further pursuing it. Therefore, his mother whole-heartedly supported him by personally teaching him the fundamentals of the sport to improve his basketball skills and ultimately she got him involved with playing on various summer league basketball teams.

Not only that, but his mother encouraged him to work hard to enhance his basketball skills including his educational endeavors first and foremost. Da'Shone was a very bright and intelligent young man who had the ability to become whatever he wanted and or achieve any goals he defined for himself.

Da'Shone enjoyed cutting hair and was quite skilled at it considering he had not taken any professional barber classes. He cut hair for his family members, friends and peers, including the neighbors. In doing so, on many occasions he did it not expecting any monetary fund's in return or if they gave him money it was a very small amount considering most of them were in school and did not have much to give. Sometimes he just cut their hair out of the goodness of his heart. Da'Shone also enjoyed rapping and was quite good at it, which is another one of his many talents he possessed.

Da'Shone was an extrovert, that is, a very sociable person who enjoyed the association of other people. Everyone from the local community area and many of the surrounding nearby cities had either met Da'Shone from previous basketball tournaments or competed against him during a basketball game. He was a likable individual by most people and had a kind heart; and he would share or give his last to a friend in need.

Da'Shone very much enjoyed the crowd of people, which made him quite the people person. He was habitually outgoing, full of energy and vivacious, and also had a high level of confidence and self esteem about himself. He without a doubt lived in the present while focusing on current activities. He had a smile that was like no other, extremely outspoken, and had good conversation. Da'Shone will be missed because there will not be another individual quite like this - authentic.

Da'Shone attended John B. Connally High School in Austin, Texas during his freshman year thru most of his junior year and was a member of the basketball team. Ultimately, he graduated from Pflugerville High School in Pflugerville, Texas with his graduating class, that is, class of 2010.

Da'Shone played on several AAU basketball teams from 2003 thru 2008, which consisted of the ATX Basketball Team and the Round Rock Hustlaz in an effort to further enhance his basketball skills. In addition, he also attended Penn Valley Community College in Kansas City, Missouri during the 2012 - 2013 school years and worked at various restaurants and department stores in Austin, Texas as well as the Kansas City, Missouri area.

On Wednesday, April 08, 2015 in Kansas City, Missouri Da'Shone became a victim of a deliberate homicide. He was preexisted in death by his great grandmother Pearline H. Veal of Boyle, Mississippi, his uncle Timothy Tyrone Taylor, and great uncle Reverend, Leroy Johnson both of whom are natives of Cleveland, Mississippi.
