David S. Kulwin, 58, passed away suddenly on April 2 at his home in Austin. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 7, 1964.
He graduated from Northeastern high school in Springfield, Ohio in 1983. Dave then joined the Marines and was proud to serve in San Diego, California. David was honorably discharged from the Marines in 1989, and moved to Austin, Texas in 1990. Dave graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Physics, taking a position as the Chief Technology Officer at Pragma Systems Inc. for the last 19 years. He was an innovator and a leader at the company he worked for.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Reuben Kulwin, and is survived by his mother, Beverlee Anderson and his step-father, Robert Nils Anderson. His best friends included his co-workers Quamrul Mina, Tiffany Wentworth and Edith Myers. David was cherished by his girlfriend Rebecca Chulew and her daughters Veronica and Gina.
