David O'Lin

David Lee O'Lin passed away on August 23, 2013 after a brave fight with Leukemia. He was born on August 7, 1953, to Harry and Delores O'Lin in Albany, CA. As a young child, his family relocated to Brownwood, TX. He is survived by his children David, Tomeka, and Chadd as well as his grandchildren whom he adored: Sabrina, Tyler, Sylven, Rhianna and Rowan. His siblings include: Connie, Larry (deceased), Edwin, Rindy, Danny, Peggy, Lorinda and Neal. Family also includes several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Several close friends who he considered family held a special place in his heart as well.

David was a caring and generous character. He was a master carpenter by trade and a jokester by choice. His favorite pastime was playing Call of Duty with his many online XBOX friends and spending time with his family.

A casual memorial service will be held Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 5:30pm at The Market Building that he restored located at 202 Main Street in Rising Star, TX, graciously provided by Mrs. Jo Sledge. Family and friends are invited to join in this celebration of his life. Flowers may be sent to The Market Building.
