Debra Burt

Debra Diane Burt- devoted daughter, wife, loving mother, grandmother, departed this life on Saturday, September 28th, 2013, at the age of 59. Debra was born August 23rd, 1954, in Little Rock, AR to Marian R. Nowden of Little Rock, AR and the late Roger W. Nowden.
In 1986 Debra relocated to Austin, TX with her husband and family. She worked for the City of Austin as an Administrative Specialist providing support to the Executive Management Team of Austin Water Utility until she entered into eternal rest. She was an active member of True Vine Baptist where she served as secretary and president of the Usher Board. Additionally, she loved gospel music and spendingtime with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by family, friends, and church members.
Debra is survived by her husband and best friend of 40yrs, Albert R. Burt, Austin, TX; four children: Andria D. Burt, Albert D. Burt (Briana), Alendy R. Burt, Austin, TX, Anita R. Williams (Chris), Bryant, AR; eight grandchildren: Darius, Daevon, Aniya and Ayanna Hunter, Andre and Arianna Burt, Nayla and Nicholas Allen; two sisters; Margeret A. Lewis, Doris F. James (Sam) both from Little Rock, AR; six brothers, Kenneth L Nowden, Rodney W. Nowden (Sharon), Artie R. Nowden, Little Rock AR, Ronald E. Nowden, Ronald E. Nowden (Erica), Smyrna, GA, Harlod G. Nowam (Maria) of Lithia Springs, GA, Edmond Burt (Brenda) of Austin, TX, Wayne Burt (Angela) of Little Rock, AR, and Carolyn Burt Toney of Cininnati, OH
A visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, October 2nd, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at All Faiths - North Chapel. Funeral Services will begin 12:00 noon, Thursday, October 3rd at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church (Annex Chapel), 5900 Cameron Road, Austin, TX
