He attended Manor I.S.D. His hobbies including playing and watching football, boxing and spending time with his son. On June 30, 2008, De'trion was blessed with the joy of his life; De'trion Lamont Thompson Jr. was born.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Booker & Jennie Thompson; uncles Randal Jones and Christopher R. Brown.
