Dolores Rivera Garcia, age 63 joined our heavenly father on Saturday June 6,2015. Dolores born October 21,1951 grew up in San Antonio, TX and graduated from Lanier High School. She spent most of her professional life as a beloved crossing gaurd for the San Antonio Independent School District.
Dolores also lovingly known as "Ya-Ya" enjoyed crocheting, shopping and spending time being a treasured aunt until her health brought her to her final resting place in Round Rock, TX.
Dolores is preceded in death by her father Jesus Deleon Rivera, mother Petra Lopez Rivera and sister Anna Maria Rivera. Ya-Ya is survived by her husband Frank Garcia, sisters; Magdalena Guzman, Helen Estrada, brothers; Santiago Rivera, Mario Rivera, Jesse Rivera, and Paul Rivera.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 14 at 4:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at All Faiths Funeral Services, 8507 North IH-35, Austin, Texas 78753. A rosary will be given during the visitation at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will occur on Monday, June 15 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Round Rock, Texas.
