Dorothy Louise Jarmon was born to Flemon Jarmon & Emma Grant on February 28,1923 in La Grange, Texas. She was a wife, mother, grand mother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother.
Dorothy Jarmon was baptized early in her life. In 1998 Dorothy united with the Jehovah Witness faith. Dorothy attended schools in La Grange, Texas.
Dorothy united in holy matrimony to Charlie S. Ferguson on July 26,1939, to this union Charles & Robert Ferguson were born. Later she united with Charles Mackey Sr. to this union Charles Mackey Jr. was born. Later in life she had a baby girl Joyce Ferguson. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies were sewing and cooking.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, long-time friend Collier Pleasant, siblings, and great grandson.
Dorothy Leaves to cherish her life legacy, four children Charles Ferguson (Delores), Robert Ferguson (Patricia), Charles Mackey Jr. and Joyce Wright (Don) all of Austin, Texas. 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren. Extended family Dorothy Mclester & Ruth Ann Easley. A host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation Services will commence at 10:00am on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin Texas, with Funeral Services at 11:00am.
Internment will follow in the Cook-Walden Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville Texas.
