DOROTHY L. LOUD

Dorothy L. Loud walked into God's arms at 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of November 19, 2012. She was born to Leroy Webb, Sr. and Evelyn Warren in Molton, Texas on October 26, 1937. Dorothy later moved to San Antonio, Texas where she met and married Dennis Loud. To this union was born their daughter, Sharon. After Dennis's death, Dorothy took her daughter and relocated to Albuquerque, New Mexico to be closer to her family. Eventually, they returned to Texas, settling in Austin, Texas, where Dorothy gave birth to her son, Rayfeard Williams.

Dorothy accepted Christ into her life at an early age, attending church in Molton, Texas, Albuquerque, NM, and making her final home at St. John's College Heights Baptist Church, Austin, TX, under the leadership of former Pastor Reed, and remaining faithful under the leadership of current Pastor Harvey.

Dorothy started her schooling in Molton, finishing up in Austin, celebrating a varied and colorful career as a cook, caterer, and eventually going to work for Dell Computers where she retired in 1998. Dorothy enjoyed her retirement until her health started deteriorating in 2007, and during her illness, she was faithfully and lovingly cared for by her children, grandson, Robert, and her niece, Nichelle Webb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters, Ivory Webb and Zadie Mae Wheeler.

Her memory will live forever in the hearts of her daughter, Sharon (Keith) Means, Hutto, TX; son, Rayfeard (Shante) Williams, Round Rock, TX; 2 grandsons, Robert Kendrick, Jr., Hutto, TX and Demaria Williams, Round Rock, TX; 1 great grandson, Robert Kendrick, III, Austin, TX; 2 brothers - Leroy Webb, Jr., San Antonio, TX and Jesse Webb, Louisiana; 1 sister - Barbara Webb, Victoria, TX; 1 brother-in-law, Rev. Lee Wheeler, and a host of loving stepsisters, stepbrothers, nieces, nephews and other close family and friends across the nation.

With her cheerful smile, positive nature, and big loving heart, Dorothy will be truly missed by those whose life she has touched. She will smile in our hearts forever!
