Dudley Smith

Dudley Wayne Smith passed away peacefully on August 22, 2012 in Georgetown, TX. Dudley was a much beloved brother, uncle, son, friend and husband. He was born in Texas City, TX on December 27, 1948, attended LaMarque High School in LaMarque, TX, and the Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX.
He married Lynn Fetter Smith on January 30, 1971. Dudley worked in operations and process safety management at Texas City Refining and all it's iterations up to Valero. He also worked as safety coordinator for Catalyst Technology in Pasadena.
Dudley is survived by his wife, Lynn Fetter Smith; his mother, Jean Smith; his brother, David B. Smith, David's wife and son, Lynn and Christopher W. Smith; numerous other nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law and their husbands. Dudley was preceded in death by his father, Clifford V. Smith, and his brother, Danny C. Smith, his father and mother-in-law, William H. and Jean Catherine Fetter.
Burial will be private.
