Einar Polso

Einar W. Polso, 90, passed away peacefully at his home, on November 26, 2015. He was born in Ironwood, Michigan to the late Gust and Maria Polso. He attended school and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood, Michigan. He married Elsie Nurmi of Kimball Township and they shared 68 years together. She precedes him in death. (April 22, 2015)

He, along with his wife and children have lived in Kimball Township (Hurley, Wisconsin). He was employed by Mauthe Mining Company (Newport and Geneva Iron ore Mines) in Ironwood, Michigan until the mines closed. He was a charter member of what is now the Gogebic County Federal Credit Union and was also the President of the Kimball Men's Club during the construction of Eagle Bluff Ski Hill in Kimball Township. In 1965, he moved his family to Kenosha, Wisconsin and was employed by Eaton Corporation (Dynamatic). He was a member of the IAM Lodge 34 Retirees Board. In 1990, he moved to Texas with his wife.

He is survived by two children, Douglas (Carol) Polso of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Doreen (Craig) Gossen of Austin, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Chad, Kevin, Adam, Travis and Katrina Polso of Kenosha, Wisconsin; Kyle (Ashley) Gossen of San Antonio, Texas; Kara Gossen of Dallas, Texas; and one great granddaughter, Elouise Gossen of San Antonio, Texas. He is also
survived by nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents Gust and Maria; wife Elsie; a sister Sylvia Washburn; and four brothers, Alexander, Anselm and infant brothers, Edward and Leonard Polso
