Elouise White

Laura "Elouise" White, 72, of Austin Texas, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 Elouise, graduated from Lamar University in 1976 with Honors.

She was a devoted wife to Eddie White for 53 years and worked for the state for 20 years. As a teacher, Elouise loved to share Texas History. As a daughter she was so proud of her father's service in law enforcement, especially his special commission with the Texas Ranger Service. As an employee of the state she loyally devoted her last working years with the Department of Human Services helping others. She was especially proud to serve under Governor Ann Richards.

Elouise is survived by her husband Eddie White, Her son Charles White, her daughter-in-law Linda White, and her two wonderful grandchildren Charles Jay White (C.J) and Darcie White. Her family thought of her as seeing the world through the eyes of Will Rogers. She never met a cat or heard a Willie Nelson song that she didn't like.

Elouise is being mourned in private. Family request that you donate to Austin Animal Services and specify that the donation go towards the cats.
