Essie Head

Essie Lee Head was born in Bastrop County, Texas on December 28, 1935 to Andrew Jackson Sneed Sr. and Larcelia Solomon Sneed both parents preceded her in death.

Essie accepted Christ at an early age as her Lord and Savior. She was a dedicated member of St. John Zion Baptist Church until her health failed. Essie attended St. Lytton School and Carver High School. She was employed with The University of Texas for many years.

On May 11, 1956 she united in Holy Matrimony to Harold Head Sr. he preceded her in death and to this union three children were born.

On Thursday, December 22, 2016 she got her wings, the Lord called her home.

Essie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Harold Head Jr. (Vivian), William Ray Head, and Tracy Marie Grabow (Kalel) all of Dale, TX. Five Grandsons, Harold Head III (deceased), Devin Grabow, Christin Head, Cameron Grabow and Colton Head. Four brothers: A. J., Alvin, Charlie, and Ralph. Three Sisters: Lola, Stella, and Victoria. Sister-in-law: Nelia Greene and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
