January 1956 - December 2019

Surrounded by her Family, Eva Sanchez, age 63, of Austin, Texas passed away on December 4, 2019. She was born in Austin, Texas January 1956 to Felipe Sanchez and Margarita Soto Sanchez.

Eva will be remembered for her fierce strength and her loyalty to Famila y Camarada’s.  Her free-spoken nature, sense of humor, and unconditional love for everyone will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Felipe and Margarita Soto Sanchez; stepfather, Lolo Romo; grand-daughter, Victoria Dominguez; sisters, Rosa “Rosie” Sanchez, Adella “Della” Diaz and Helen Diaz; brothers, Pete Diaz and Felipe Sanchez; niece, Debbie Ann Diaz and brother-in-law, Rudy Cruz.

Eva is survived by her daughter, Sandra Davila and son, Pablo Betancur, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; sister, Aurelia “Lala” Diaz Cruz; brothers, Paul Sanchez, Adam Sanchez, and Johnny Sanchez and his wife Dolores “Lola” Sanchez.  Further survived by a host of nieces and nephews who knew her as "Tia Eve”.

Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr, Austin, TX. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S IH 35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX.

Everyone who remembers Eva is asked to celebrate her life in their own way, raising a glass of their favorite drink and saying her most fond word “Qvo” in her memory would be quite appropriate.
