Frances Marjorie Barbour, daughter of Henry and Dora Blum of Fredericksburg, TX ascended from this plane on November 8, 2013 of natural causes at Grace House in Bee Cave, Tx. She was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on February 9, 1931. She was a devout, sensible, Catholic who shared her faith with her husband, Bill Barbour until the time of his death in 2010. She was active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockport, Texas. She volunteered countless hours helping the poor and administering the St Vincent DePaul charity in the Rockport Fulton area. She loved fishing, fashion, travel, playing bridge and played an active role in the lives of her children and grandchildren. Frances was a citizen of the world and a true joy to know. She lived in Chicago, Washington D.C and Riyadh Saudi Arabia before retiring in Rockport, Texas where she resided for 26 years before her death.
She is the last of her generation. She was predeceased her brother Buddy Blum, his wife Patsy Blum and her son, Donald Jude David. She is survived by her daughter Judy D. Nettles and her husband Malcolm S. Nettles and her two grandchildren, Jesse & Maegan Cunningham.

A Mass will be held in Rockport at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on November 22, 2013 with the Rosary being held at 1:30 with Mass at 2:00 followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Vincent DePaul Society at 114 North Church Street, Rockport, TX 78382 in memory of Frances Barbour.
