Gene Kimball

Gene Paul Kimball, Age: 81, passed away on November 27, 2015 in Austin, Texas.

Gene was a veteran of the United States Airforce, serving during the Korean War. He was a driver for Austin Capital Metro and retired after 35 years of service. In addition, for 10 years after retirement he drove a school bus for the Westlake Independent School District. Gene's greatest love in life was sharing stories about his various life experiences with family and friends.

Gene is preceded by son, Thomas Carl Kimball; father, John Paul Kimball; and mother, Mildred Laverne Kimball.
Survived by his wife of 44 years Laverne Kimball and seven children: John Kimball, Jerry Kimball, Judy Sinclair-Wolverton, Marie Knight, Debbie Kenney, William Kimball, and Howard Kimball. He also leaves behind grandchildren: Dana Kendall, Christina Winn, Garland Dankworth, Diana Dankworth, Dustin Knight, Keegan Kimball; and great grandchildren, Jeremy Lothringer, Danica Winn, Kai Knight, and Jedi Knight. Gene is also survived by two brothers, Chet Kimball and Tom Kimball of New York.

Gene's family would like to give thanks to Texas Home Health Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to him in his final days.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at All Faiths Funeral Service- North Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, TX.. Internment will follow at Onion Creek Memorial park Cemetery.
