Gregory Jerome Haney

Gregory Jerome Haney of Austin, Texas entered eternal rest on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

Gregory was born on June 21, 1957 to the late Fred Haney, Sr. and Clara Jean Haney. He attended public school in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He united with Mount Moriah Baptist Church in the 60's and was a faithful member.

Gregory loved his craft, painting and remodeling homes.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother.

He is survived by his children, Latonya Denise Haney, Gregory Torash Martin, of Spartanburg, South Carolina; Kenya Haney Werts (Kedrick), of Atlanta, Georgia; Alexander Jerome Haney and Jacobie Greathouse of Austin, Texas; brother, Fred Haney, Jr. (Ernestine) of Austin, Texas; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

A visitation in Gregory’s memory will take place on January 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at All Faiths Funeral & Cremation Services located at 8507 N Interstate 35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78753. Friends and family are invited to gather and share their condolences.

Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held on January 11, 2025, at Olivet Baptist Church, located at 1179 San Bernard St, Austin, TX 78702. The service will begin at 12:00 PM providing an opportunity for all to celebrate Gregory’s life and legacy.
