Gwendolyn Audrey Bellinger was born in Utley, Texas, Bastrop County on February 18, 1934 to Elbert Earls and Ester Lee Earls. She departed this life on October 28, 2013.

Gwendolyn attended Bastrop Public Schools District. Gwendolyn grew up in a strong Christian family environment; She accepted Christ at the early age of 10 years old. She graduated from Emile High School in Bastrop, Texas. After completion of high school, she moved to Austin, Texas where she attended Huston-Tillotson College.
While attending school, she met and married Eugene "Pick" Bellinger on January 4, 1956. To this Union six children were born.

Preceded in death by Husband; Eugene "Pick" Bellinger, son: Terry Louis Bellinger, three brothers: Elroy Earls, Barney K. Earls and Theodore Earls.

Known to all her friends and family as "Gwen". Gwendolyn enjoyed the simple things of this world; life, family, friends and a good dose of "TV Land" reruns.

Gwendolyn Audrey Bellinger leaves to cherish her memory; Eugene, Jr, Dwight A., Arthur F., Jacqueline A., all of Austin, Texas and Sherry Y. Maxwell (Greg) of San Antonio, Texas; twenty grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy J. Winston (Reverend Winston) and Marjorie Purcell all of Austin, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A visitation with the family will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Friday, November 1, 2013 at All Faiths North Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 1:00pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1801 Pennsylvania Avenue, Austin, TX. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Austin, TX.
