Hope Inge Hollub
July 21, 1932-August 15, 2015
Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, and Friend
Hope Inge Hollub, 83, went to join her Lord and Savior and her beloved husband Sonny in Heaven Saturday, August 15th, while surrounded by her cherished children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved ones.
Although Hope, or Nana as she was affectionately known by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, will be missed tremendously, her family and friends will remember her fondly in the many memories she made during her full, adventurous life and the bits of herself she left behind, reflected in those she loved most.
Her family and friends will rejoice in the blessing they were given to have Hope in their lives and will reflect on her often. They will be reminded of her when they see the kind blue eyes of her son Albert and her daughters Hope and Kay, and will recollect on the way her eyes would twinkle and dance when she gave her signature chuckle, which could be heard so often. She will be remembered for the mischievous side she was so well known for which she thankfully passed on to her sons, Eddie and Albert. Nana will be remembered fondly when her daughter Hope graces others with her heart full of love and compassion, just like her mother's was. And she will be remembered in her daughter Kay who inherited her love for travel and fun loving spirit.
With an abundance of reminders such as these and a legacy of 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren who will forever remember her warm and welcoming smile, Nana will remain in the hearts of her loved ones always and will provide them with the opportunity to rejoice in the life she lived rather than solely grieve this tremendous loss.
It is rare in life to encounter someone who deeply and profoundly touches the lives of all those they meet; however, Hope Hollub was one of these people. As the bible states in Philippians 1:3, "I thank my God in all my remembrance of you," and all who were given the opportunity to know Hope will thank God often for the chance they were given to make everlasting memories with such a kind hearted, selfless, caring, fun loving, devoted, and Godly woman.
Services for Hope will be at 11:00AM, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at All Faiths of the Pines located at 110 American Legion Road, Smithville, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made on Hope's behalf to the PHCC (Plumbing, Heating, Cooling Contractors) Charitable and Educational Foundation- 145 Trademark Drive Buda, TX 78610 or Alzheimer's Association, Houston and Southeast TX Chapter- 6055 South Loop East Houston, TX 77087.
