Ima Warden

Ima Elizabeth Warden, age 98, of Austin, Texas, died January 29th, 2023. Ima was born in Bertram in Burnet County, Texas on March 4th, 1924 and has resided in Austin since 1927. She was a graduate of Austin High School Class of 1941; and in 1976, she retired as Assistant Cashier, Treasury Department, Austin Division, after 35 years of service at Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, and Life Member Club of Telephone Pioneers of America. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander Price Warden Jr. and Hattie Adelle Wommack Warden; sisters, Anna Lou Warden and Iona Adelle Warden Steinfeldt. She is survived by her nephew, Mark Leonard Steinfeldt and wife, Sharon Renee Brummett Steinfeldt; great-nephew, Thor Mark Steinfeldt; great-niece, Sasha Renee Steinfeldt Galan, all of Austin, Texas.
