Obituary

Irene Green Williams was born in Jarrell, TX on July 31,1944 to Reverend Paul Green Jr. and Lillian Irene White. She became a disciple of Jesus Christ at an early age. She became a Member of St. Edward Baptist Church in Austin, Texas under the Leadership of Reverend Admiral Dewitty. Upon his passing, she became a member of Freedom Home Baptist Church in Austin, Texas under the Leadership of Reverend Oscar Howard Jr. where she was called into Ministry. Irene was joined in marriage to the late John Williams, they were married until his passing. In 2012, Rev. Williams became a member and Assistant Pastor of Friendship Bible Baptist in Bastrop, Texas under the Leadership of Rev. Mary Butler, until she was called home on May 13, 2016.

Survivors

Irene leaves to celebrate her memories four children: Cheryl (John), Carol Ann, and Arthur all of Austin, Texas; Siblings: Jimmy Butler (Mary), Charles Butler (Gloria), Johnnie Green, Yvette Green, Lydia Green, Paul Green, James Green and Pricilla Timms. A host grandchildren, great grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends.
