James Bridges

James Wayne Bridges, 53, of Paige, went to see our Heavenly Father on March 30, 2013. He was the son of the late Roy Adams and Joyce Adams. He was married to his soul mate Brenda Ahlhorn for twelve years, married on November 10, 2001.

James loved the Lord our God. He gave his heart to God on September 9, 2007 with his baptism. He was a member of The Church of The Risen Savior. He enjoyed many church gatherings and spending time with his church family.

James enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and fishing. He loved his dogs and his time spent with his grandchildren.

He worked in the oil industry for many years and was able to enjoy returning to the career he loved best, which was hauling trash. The generosity of the company and camaraderie of his fellow employees made all the difference to him.

James is survived by his Mother: Joyce Adams; Wife: Brenda Ahlhorn; Brothers: Joe & Marissa Bridges; Kip & Emma Adams; Bobby Adams; Sisters: Rosemary & Leon Galpin; Dawn & Sammy Gonzales; Karen Toledo; Cheryl & Charles Kier; and many nieces and nephews.
James is survived by four children: Victoria and husband Heath Seaton along with two grandchildren, Heath II & Bayleigh; Richard Bridges; Sarah Bridges; & Jacob Bridges.
James is preceded in death by Roy Adams.

The family will receive friends at All Faiths of the Pines Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at All Faiths of the Pines Chapel. Interment will be in Friendship Cemetery in Paige, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Ahlhorn-Bridges family.
