James Wofford

James Lee "Jimmie" Wofford of Austin, Texas passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, at the age of 69.

Jimmie was born on October 18, 1945 in Victoria, Texas to Claude and Elna Wofford of Runge, Texas.

Jimmie was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, husband, brother, cousin, uncle and friend.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Claude and Elna Wofford; and uncle, Si Lee Wofford.

He is survived by his daughter, Felicia Teague and husband, James Teague of Buda, Texas; grandchildren, Michael Teague and wife Taira Teague of Buda, Texas; Mason Teague, Raven Swenson and Brystol Teague, all of Buda, Texas. Ex-wife, Julee Wofford of Austin, Texas; sisters, Joyce Walton and husband Larry Walton of Del Valle, Texas; Frances Smith of Buda, Texas; Virginia and Cheryl Wofford, both of Austin, Texas; cousins, Sandra Wenzel of Austin, Texas; James Sutherland of Cedar Park, Texas, and Ronald Sutherland of La Grange, Texas. Jimmie also had numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Jimmie loved to hunt, he was an avid fisherman, he told many truck driving stories (repeatedly, at times). He enjoyed playing dominoes with family, and would occasionally find ways to cheat his opponents when tallying the points. He often took off on adventurous road trips through the country side, sometimes he ended up visiting his favorite child hood hometown and surrounding areas that included Runge and Nordheim, Texas. He loved to tell jokes, making people laugh and enjoyed his time spent with his many close friends and family.
He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. May our loved ones find peace knowing he is finally able to rest with the angels.

A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at All Faiths Funeral Services, 4360 South Congress Avenue Suite 115, Austin, Texas 78744.
The family the will have a private inurnment at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, or a charity of your choice.
