Jan Carey

Jan Carey, 62 years young, passed August 5, 2015 in Georgetown, Texas at St. Davis Hospital.

Jan always had a smile on her face. She was very involved with her church. She loved singing in the church choir and was very involved with her life links group. Jan loved to travel and enjoy life. Her favorite destination was Disneyworld. Jan also enjoyed her job; she started at Dell Inc in February 1997. Over the 17 years with Dell she made many lifelong friends. Jan also loved to spend time with all of her grandkids and family.

Jan was survived by her loving husband Calvin Carey; sister Swick McLain and her son David McLain; children Jeremy McLain, Jandy Dominguez, Diane Strickland and Zachary L'Huillier; stepchildren Travis Carey, Amanda Hernandez; grandchildren, Zachary Laliberty, Adrian Ortiz, Breanna Dominguez, Audreyana Ortiz, Mario "Christopher" Lozano, Chasadey L'Huillier, Caileb L'Huillier, Johbon L'Huillier, Isaiah Hernandez, Bella Hernandez, Michael Hernandez, Shyanna Kort, Nathanielle Kort, Naomi Russell, Gabriel Russell; great grandchildren, Brandon Kort and Tynleigh Stanfield.

The family would like to send a special thanks for all the nurses and staff at the St. David's Georgetown hospital and the hospice nurses.
