Jay Hord

Jay Anne Hord, age 58 passed away on May 6th, 2013 after a seventeen month battle with cancer. She is survived by Terry Hord, her husband of forty years, her three sons Tony, Keith & Ryan, her two grandchildren Luke & Vanessa & her daughter-in-law Mary, her mother Anne Schmidt, sister Carol Collins & husband John & family, her brother-in-law Jack Hord & wife Chris & family, aunt Mary Alma Beneski & husband Bob & family, aunt Shirlie Michka & husband Louis & family, aunt Jean Gaddis, aunt Margie Gaddis, two neices & several nephews. Jay Anne was born in Houston on September 13th, 1954. In January of 1991 she moved to the Austin area and eventually moved to Dripping Springs in 1997. She was a decent, loving & strong person who will surely be missed. A mass will be said for her on Saturday, May 11th at 1:00PM at Stonebridge nursing home where her mother resides. Memorial plans to gather and celebrate her life are still pending.
