Jim Iii

Jim Danny Dallas, 55, of Austin passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2012.

Jim was the first son born to Pollye and Jim Dallas. He was born November 18, 1956 in Austin, Texas. He attended public school in Midland, Texas. In addition, while living in Midland, he was a member of Greater St. Luke African Methodist Episcopal Church.

After graduation from Midland Lee High School, he joined the United States Army and served from 1975 to 1979 with an extended tour of duty in Germany. Jim completed courses at Temple Junior College and worked at various occupations but really enjoyed working construction. He loved reading, drawing (sketching lighthouses) and spending time with his family.

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Jim Dallas in 1968 and his mother Pollye Dallas Bell in 2006.

Those who are saddened and left to mourn his death are his only sister, Rita Michelle King and brother-in-law Paul King of Pflugerville, Texas, his twin brothers, Roland Dennis Dallas and Randell Darek Dallas of Dallas, Texas and his baby brother Joe Ellis Bell of Midland, Texas. His three nieces and three nephews and great nieces and nephews will miss "Uncle Danny" along with many cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 4 pm until 8 pm at All Faiths Funeral Services, North I-35 Chapel.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 10 am at All Faiths Funeral Services, North I-35 Chapel.

Interment will follow at Central Texas State Veteran's Cemetery.
