Johnnie Lee Williams was born June 28, 1945 to the late John and Mary Williams. He departed this life on May 28, 2014 at the age of 68.

Johnnie attended Booker T. Washington Elementary School and Solomon Coles High School, Corpus Christi, Texas. Johnnie was an outstanding basketball star. His nick name was Hooker.

He was retired from Poole Moving and Storage in Austin, Texas. After retirement, he went into the medical field and became a Certified Nurse's Assistant where he was employed with Stonebridge Nursing Center in Austin, Texas.

Johnnie accepted Christ at an early age, and was a member of Macedonia Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ, Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Mary Ann Coleman; brother, Marvin Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Michelle Sanders; three grandchildren, Anthony Riojas, Spenser Riojas and LaMetria Sanders; two brothers, Jerry Williams (Rose) and Apostle Dennis Williams; two sisters, Helen Williams and Dorothy Tabor; one aunt, Betty Stewart; two uncles, Johnny Miles and Joe Lee Miles. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Special friend, Lillie Redix.

A visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday, May 30, 2014 at All Faiths Funeral Services - North Chapel.
Funeral Service will begin 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Greater Solid Rock Christian Fellowship, 13419 E. Hwy 290 Building 10, Manor, TX 78653. Interment to be held at Mt. Eden Cemetery, Gonzales, Texas.
