Johnny Hawkins

Johnny Howard Hawkins Jr. was born December 15, 1944 to Johnnie Howard Hawkins Sr. and Bennie Jewel Hawkins in Austin, TX. He attended Austin School District and retired from the City of Austin where he worked for over 20 years. Johnny leaves his sister Mildred Steward, her husband Lewis Steward and Johnny's long time partner Mrs. Jeraldine Nevls, all her family. He has 8 children; Vertis Gray, Johnnie Hawkins, Howard Hawkins (Corbie), Gavelant Jackson, Dwayne Hardeman, Anissa Hyder (Donald); Lynette I. Jackson, Latricia Hawkins-Johnson (Alfonzo). Johnny has 25 grand children and 7 great grandchildren.
