Johnny Lauderdale. Jr. was born February 7, 1951 in Austin, Texas to the parents of Anna Jean Young and Johnny W. Lauderdale Sr., . Johnny is the 4th eldest of 18 children shared between the unions of Johnny Lauderdale, Sr. Anna Jean Young, and Step mother Betty Lauderdale-Jones. Johnny attended LBJ high school and received certificates and certification in Trucking School and Mechanics. Johnny enjoyed being outside working on cars or his passion fishing when he wasn't doing that he enjoyed playing bingo, dominoes and being with his family. Johnny joined Church at an early age. He was baptized at age 12, in Kimbro, Texas and later became a member of Freedom Home Baptist Church and maintained his faith to the end.

He Married Jim Ella Grant and they conceived 2 children Johnny W. Lauderdale III (Oklahoma) and Kendra W Lauderdale (Oklahoma) Johnny later Married Carolyn Justice and adopted her 4 Children Michelle Justice, Michael Justice, Patrice Justice and Reginald Justice (deceased) and he is survived by his wife Carol Lauderdale and he adopted her children Roderick and Eugene Willis . He is survived by siblings: Sister's-Francis Williams, Joyce Banks, Rosemary Harris, Kathleen Fowler, Linda Fowler, Dorothy-Nell Lauderdale, Rosie-lee Meeks (Forth Worth, TX) Michael-Ann Smith (California) Karen Urdy, Anita Dove (California) and Brother's- Lealyn Urdy, Robert Earl Lauderdale, and Joseph Aaron Young. Johnny is proceeded in death by Sister- Johnny-Mae Ward, and brother's Larry Lauderdale, Vernon Lauderdale, and Donald Ray Maze. Johnny is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.

Service for Johnny Lauderdale will be held at 11:00AM on August 14, 2014 at Freedom Home Baptist Church 1144 Gunter St, Austin, TX 78721
