Jose Reyna

Jose Abelardo Reyna , age 54, died of Pulmonary Fibrosis on September 14th, 2015, at the Texas Nuero Rehab Center, in Austin, Texas.
Jose is survived by his wife, Irma Reyna, of Smithville, Texas; his son, Joe Angel Reyna, of Smithville Texas; his mother, Felicita Reyna, of Post, Texas; his brothers, Mario Reyna, of Smithville, Texas, Abel Reyna, of Post, Texas, Alphonso Reyna, of Bloomington, Illinois, Basil Reyna, of Post, Texas, Danny Reyna, of Fulshear, Texas, Frank Reyna, of Tahoka, Texas, Hector Reyna, of Post, Texas, twins Aaron, and Abel Reyna of Post, Texas; and his sisters Soyla Reyna, Leslie Reyna, and Marylou Sabas of Post, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Abelardo T. Reyna, of Post, Texas; his sister, Nelda Reyna, of Post, Texas; and his Niece, Yuri Lopez, of Post, Texas.
Jose was born on September 7th 1961 in Freemont, Ohio, to parents Abelardo T. Reyna and Felicita Reyna. He graduated from Post High School and eventually moved to Smithville, Texas, and accepted a position as a derek hand at Geo Southern Energy Corp , where he worked for over 15 years.
Jose was a true family man and a loving father. He married Irma Reyna on February 22 1992 and the couple had 1 child together, Joe Angel Reyna, born July 3rd 1992.
Jose was a caring person who was always thinking of others. He enjoyed watching his football, especially his Texas Tech Red Raiders, and Dallas Cowboys. His family and friends will always remember him as a strong, and courageous person who never gave up.
A funeral is scheduled for Friday on September 18th 2015, at First Baptist Church of Smithville, Texas; with a reception to follow. Pastor Michael Murphy will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jose's life. The family would like to thank everyone for their loving support, and prayers. May God bless you all as we celebrate Jose's life, and his journey home to be with the Lord.
