On October 29, 2014 our beloved son, brother and friend, Joshua Edward Wilson departed his life at age 25.
Joshua Wilson was born to Raymond Earl Wilson Jr. and Yolanda Elaine Wilson on February 19, 1989. He attended the Austin Independent School District, later attended Hutto High School where he graduated and was a part of the 2005 Hutto State Finalist Hippos Football Team. Later, he furthered his education at Blinn Jr. College and Austin Community College.
Joshua confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Melvin Carter at Greater Love Baptist Church, Austin, Texas. Later, rededicated his life at Little Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hutto, Texas
Joshua loved spending time with family and best friend/brother Jeremy Kerley and all of the Hutto Hippos Football Family. He also enjoyed running track with the Austin Striders Track Team.
He was employed with Wal-Mart for two years.
Joshua will be greatly missed by all. He was a very loving and devoted son, a faithful brother, a caring friend, and a trusted cousin. He displayed a strong faith in God in all of his transitions in life. He knew his soul was anchored in the Lord.
Joshua was preceded in death by his brother, Brian "Bus" Wilson; both sets of great grand parents; and four uncles; and one aunt.
Joshua leaves to cherish his memory with father, Raymond Earl Wilson Jr.; his mother, Yolanda Wilson; sister, Tarmara Wilson; grandparents, LeaVern Johnson Williams, Reuben Johnson (Merilysse), Constance Wilson; uncles, Alonzo Johnson Vo (Thuan Vo) of Ft. Worth, Reuben Johnson of Austin, TX, Cottie Sims of Round Rock, TX, Roy Sims of Granger, TX; aunts, Linda Wilson Doss (Brian) of Ft. Worth, TX, Brenda Wilson, Cynthia Wilson Brooks (Sylvester Brooks) of Ft. Worth, TX, Kathy Wilson of Ft. worth, TX, Bernice Darden of Round Rock, TX; and a host of great aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
